FSU vacates games

lot's of wins are vacated in multiple sports.

All thats important here is the reality of football.

The end ruling was 12 Vacacted wins of the 14 FSU won in 2006 & 2007.

Bowden retired with 389 wins (with lies) and less the 12 vacated wins - 377.

If anyone ever wakes up and realizes that Samford isn't div 1 football then we'll see that drop by another 31 games to 346.

Paterno ended this year with 394 and will without a doubt break the 400 mark in 2010 after 45 years of coaching. Let there be no doubt as to which one was better and accomplihsed more.

I think most Noles are glad its over.

FinnDaddy I think you've posted that same anti BB crap 800 times. WHich is more than their combined win total. Too bad USC will always have a losing record against BB.

The cheating scandal had nothing to do with Bowden. Although Paterno will finish with more wins, and may be the better coach, I think it's very close.

Yeah and the not so glorious years for the USC program.

Notice though that Bowden will also have played more FCS-cream puff teams in his career at FSU than USC has in it's entire history.

LOL bitter pill !!! I'm not bitter Finn, we're 2-0 against USuCk. It doesn't matter in who's glory years, 99% of the time USuCk fans can only remember the last 8 or 9 yrs anyways.

Post some facts on BB and FCS cream puffs. It seems like every year FSU is in the top 10 in strength of schedule and thats with all those cream puffs. 2010 will really give you something to cry about, yea I know we open at Samford but later we face the gators, sooners and byu. Don't choke on that pill.

I'll start for you... and I've posted it before. It falls in that memory range of most Trojans.

I agree, but in some of the other sports they are losing titles and will be returning trophies.

Maybe it will make some other coaches pay more attention to the academic profiles of the students in their program. To help ensure through leadership that the kids are actually taking courses following a degree progam and actually taking the tests themselves.

Perhaps it's just a little marker or reminder out there to help coaches remember, their records and subject to change - and that effects their salary and salary potential.
