Tedbow was Superman this, superman that while they expected Fla to win,
as soon as it was questionable they were all over him like stink on shiot!

They ragged on him left and right for the bad game... talking about Heisman trophy being now between Colt McCoy and Mark Ingram... funny that.

Colt is like 10th on the QB list for QB rating, and 12 for yards passed.
Ingram is like 7th on the list for yards carried, and way down the list for TD's.
In fact his 12 TD's are dwarfed by Toby Gerheart's 26.
Gerheart also has almost 400 more yards rushing than Ingram... go figure.

But the SEC whore announcer's are all over Ingram and McCoy... why?

The best RB in the SEC is MS State's Anthony Dixon, not Mark Ingram, IMO. He averaged 7 more yards per game than Ingram in the regular season (Ingram played one more game). MS State had ZERO offensive threat outside of Dixon. Their passing game ranked 113th nationally so EVERYONE inside the stadium knew Dixon was going to get the ball (he averaged 23+ carries per game). And yet he was still the leading rusher in the SEC (SEC measures it by yards per game with min number of games).

Colt McCoy faced two top defenses in 13 games this season. Against OU (#7 Total Defense), McCoy only had 127 yards passing with 1 TD and 1 INT along with 33 yards rushing. Against Nebraska (#11 Total Defense), McCoy only had 184 yards passing with 0 TD's and 3 INT's along with -20 yards rushing. That's a 84.53 rating vs. OU and an 81.82 rating vs. Nebraska.

Shouldn't a Heisman RB candidate be the best RB in their own conference? And shouldn't a Heisman QB candidate have at least ONE great performance against a top defense? The Heisman is nothing more than a meaningless beauty pageant. The fact they don't award a crown instead of a bronze statue is disappointing.

After tonight, I would vote Suh as the Heisman winner. The guy is a beast. However, his "reward" will have to come in the form of a $50MM contract after next year's draft.

You're exactly right. With MSU 6 inches away from beating LSU, for some reason he was NOT given the football. If he was, then we're probably looking at MSU at least going bowling. They kicked our butts last game and Dixon is one guy I will not miss next year!
