I hear what you are saying, but other teams have endured the same lengthy investigation, why should the rules change for USC?
No Sooner, I'm not suggesting a second standard - and you should know that.
I'm suggesting the NCAA shouldn't have the ability to drag on an investigation beyond 24 months against anyone.

You can begin an investigation and after 18-24 mths the NCAA would need to present their case! Proof of wrong doing etc. Then if warrented and sufficient evidence shows that there is a worng and continuing problem, that for example they may need to seek back into additional records etc...

But for the case specific, charges or allegations - they need to do this within 24 mths. If you can't make a case in two years, then your digging.

Ok I'm not going into the whole NCAA stuff regarding proof but if the NCAA is around this long its not good for USC.I've heard that USC is looking at alot violations and more than 12 major violations just for the football program. Now I also have to say I really could care less and havent followed this at all so some of USC guys what are you hearing.

I'm hearing that the basketball has some serious infractions - and associated penalties coming. I've not heard anything about football infractions being verified, serious or not.

I think there is sure to be some nit picky stuff on the football program, but I don't think they've found anything that USC hadn't found and self reported on along the way.

When a vile and dirty program such as the one at USC, lies, stonewalls and obfuscates the facts then they should be allowed to dig until the truth is discovered.

Yellow - you could wish your program was as open and transparent as USC's is!
If you weren't so obsessed with the notion of their power base, and fearing them,
you'd be able to see all the good that Pete Carrol brought the program.
